Michael Keenan, Of Counsel
Mike Keenan joined Schroder Brooks Law Firm after a hiatus from practicing law during which he founded and operated The Juice Laundry, an organic juice and smoothie bar with four locations in Charlottesville, VA.
After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2008, Mike worked as an associate for Hollingsworth LLP in Washington, DC where he gained experience across a broad spectrum of litigation and contractual matters. More recently, Mike co-wrote and edited Gorilla and the Bird, a memoir by his close friend and law school classmate Zack McDermott that is currently in development at HBO as a limited series.
Mike lives in Charlottesville, VA with his wife Sarah and their seven rescue dogs - Aluna, Milo, Julep, John Smith, Tally, Curly, and Shemp - and one cat - Roxy, in a house (or, rather, budding animal sanctuary) that they built themselves - a rewarding project that they will never be crazy enough to attempt again.
